While out promoting The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Edward Cullen himself Robert Pattinson spoke about his future film plans that go beyond the popular vampire series. Former Twilght star Cam Gigandet gave up his fangs for a pair of stirrups with his next film and Pattinson plans on doing the same. Get ready to see your precious Edward go all Dances with Wolves in a Western!

Pattinson told inquiring minds about his upcoming feature entitled, Unbound Captives. It’s a film that’s completely different from anything else you’ve seen him in so take your visions of Cedric Diggory and Edward Cullen and chuck them out the window.

"I’m playing a kid who’s kidnapped by Comanches when he was 4 years old and brought up by them. My mother spends her entire time trying to find me and my sister, and when she finds us we can’t remember who she is or remember anything about the Western culture. I speak Comanche the whole movie so that will be really different from Edward [laughs]."

Ok, Pattinson may have gained a little respect from me for taking on another language for the movie. In the film he’ll star opposite Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman, so this will be a stark contrast to anything he’s ever done in Twilight. Therefore, we had to ask if he took on the role because it was so different from playing Mr. Cullen.

"No, I actually signed onto that after I had done Twilight in the summer just a couple of months after I finished, so it was really before anything had happened. I didn’t really think about it, it was just a cool script. It reminded me in a lot of ways of Giant, and that’s one of my favorite movies, so I think that’s why I responded to it."

On another note, earlier this week we told you about the actor starring in a film with a rumored Nicole Kidman entitled, Bel Ami. He went on to give us a status update on the movie and when it will begin production.

"I’m going to be doing a movie called Bel Ami in February, and it’s an adaptation of Guy De Maupassant’s novel."

Speaking of time lines, when they hell can we expect to hear some news on Breaking Dawn? Eclipse is already in the bag, and Pattinson had this to say about the fourth vampire film."

"I think the tentative time line for Breaking Dawn is next year I think. I don’t really know. They may well change that."

So, there you go! Breaking Dawn may or may not start filming next year, he”ll be channeling Daniel Day-Lewis from Last of the Mohican’s in a Western, and playing it up as a male whore in February.

Pattinson a parlé se son prochain film, Unbound Captives. C'est un film qui est complètement différent de ce qu'on a vu de lui .

"J'incarne un gamin qui est enlevé par les Comanche à l'âge de 4 ans et il est élève par eux . Sa mère passe toute sa vie à me chercher , moi et ma soeur. Quand elle nous trouve , on ne se souvient pas d'elle et on ne se souvient plus de notre culture . Je parle Comanche tout au long du film . On ne peut vraiment pas parler plus différemment d' Edward[rires]."

Ok, Pattinson sera sans doute respecté car il parlera une autre langue . Il jouera aux côtés de Rachel Weisz et Hugh Jackman, donc ce sera un contraste saisissant par rapport à Twilight. Don on lui a demandé s'il avait accepté le film car c'était différent de Mr. Cullen.

"Non , j'ai signé après Twilight, quelques mois après , donc ce fut bine avant le succès du film. Je n'ai pas pensé à ça , le script était cool; ca m'a rappelé Giant, et c'est un de mes films préférés , donc voilà pourquoi j'ai accepté."

"Je vais faire Bel Ami en Février ."

Donc voilà ! Breaking Dawn sera peut être tourné l'an prochain , il s'inspirera de Daniel Day-Lewis dans Last of the Mohican pour jouer dans le Western, et il jouera un homme à femmes en février.

je m'aperçois qu'en fait ce sont des articles qui reprennent ses propos lors de la conférence de presse (et je pense que ce ne seront pas les derniers). de fait on va peut être s'abstenir à l'avenir de rapatrier tous les articles qui vont être pondus sur le sujet vu qu'on a la retranscription complète de la conférence.
