The movie Twilight begins with Bella Swan moving to live with her dad in Forks, Washington, from sunny Phoenix, Arizona where she’s grown up with her mom. On the first day of school, she’s already hooked on the mysterious Edward Cullen, who acts, least said, strangely around her. When Edward saves Bella’s life by stopping a rushing car with one hand, Bella understands that Edward isn’t like everyone else. She becomes fascinated. The truth comes to her eventually and Bella learns that Edward and his family are vampires. Bella’s and Edward’s love is pretty complicated though – Edward has to fight his self control to not accidentally kill Bella when they are together. And on top of that, they happen across another vampire clan whose leader, James, makes Bella his prey…

More dangers are waiting

Despite that Bella got away from getting killed by James, Edward’s and Bella’s relationship is not out of dangers. When Bella is visiting the Cullen family’s house, she accidentally cuts herself and Jasper loses control and throws himself over Bella by the sight of the blood. Edward then decides to leave Bella because he doesn’t want to put her through any more dangers. The abandoned Bella gets comfort from her childhood friend Jacob Black. What Bella doesn’t know is that Jacob’s tribe has its own secret. Jacob is part of a pack of werewolves that are the vampires bitter enemies. When Bella consciously begins to put herself through life-danger, because she can “hear” Edwards voice then, that leads to a serious of misunderstandings that makes Edward think that Bella has died. Then he heads to Italy to let the Volturi clan, the vampires “royal” family, kill him. The Cullen family and Bella hurries after him to stop him.

New Faces in New Moon!

In the Twilight saga’s second part two new important groups are introduced: Jacob Black and his werewolf friends, and the ancient vampire clan the Volturi.

Jacob’s Team

Everyone that has seen and loved the first movie recognizes Jacob Black, Bella’s childhood friend that lives in the native reservation by La Push. Jacob is a member of the Quileute tribe, and he was actually the one who told Bella the vampire legend. What Jacob didn’t tell was that because the vampires had increased in numbers in the area, another old legend is brought to life: certain members of the tribe becomes werewolves, the vampires bitter enemies. Before the filming ofNew Moon all the members of the wolf pack work hard. Between takes they also took the chance to lift weights and do push ups. To go around with a bare chest in cold Vancouver was probably not the coziest every time. But no one complained – werewolves are above that!

The Volturi clan

In the movie New Moon we get familiar with the vampires oldest and most powerful family – The Volturi clan. If there was a royal family among the vampires this would be it, Edward explains to Bella. The Volturi clan is ancient and has huge power. It is to them, in Volterra, Italy, that Edward heads when he believes Bella to be dead – to get sentenced to death, because he doesn’t want to live in a world where Bella does not exist.

Le film Twilight débute avec l'emménagement de Bella Swan chez son père à Forks, Washington, et elle quitte Phoenix, Arizona où elle a grandit avec sa mère . Le 1er jour d'école , elle est déjà attiré par Edward Cullen, qui agit bizarrement avec elle . Quand Edward sauve la vie de Bella en stoppant une voiture avec sa main , Bella comprend qu' Edward n'est pas comme les autres . Elle est fascinée . Elle comprend la vérité et Bella apprend qu' Edward et sa famille sont des vampires. L'amour entre Bella et Edward est assez compliqué – Edward doit se contrôler pour ne pas tuer accidentellement Bella . En plus de cal, ils font face à un autre clan dont le leader, James trouve en Bella sa nouvelle proie…

Encore plus de dangers

Malgré qu'elle ait failli se faire tuée par James,leur relation n'est pas hors de danger . Bella se coupe accidentellement et Jasper perd le contrôle et se jette sur Bella Edward décide alors de quitter Bella car il ne veut plus qu'elle soit en danger . Bella , abandonnée, trouve du réconfort chez son ami d'enfance Jacob Black. Ce qu'elle ne sait pas c'est que sa tribu a aussi un secret . Jacob est un loup, ennemi juré des vampires. Quand Bella prend conscience qu'en se mettant en danger , elle peut entendre Edward, cela mène à un quiproquo et Edward pense qu'elle est morte. Elle va donc en Italie chez les Volturi pour qu'ils le tuent . Les Cullens et Bella s'engagent dans une course contre la montre pour le sauver.

L'équipe de Jacob

Tous ceux qui ont vu Twilight savent que Jacob Black vit dans une réserve Indienne La Push. Jacob est membre de la tribu des Quileute , et c'est lui qui a raconté à Bella la légende sur les vampires . Ce qu'il ne lui a pas dit c'est que certain membres de la tribu deviennent des loups .Avant le tournage , ils ont tous travaillé dur et entre les prises ils ont poursuivis l'entrainement . Etre torse nu à Vancouver ne fut pas chose facile . Mais personne ne s'est plaint , ce sont des loups après tout.

Les Volturi

Ce sont les vampires les plus anciens et les plus puissants . C'est une famille royale , explique Edward à Bella. C'est vers eux à Volterra, qu' Edward va quand il pense que Bella est morte – pour être condamné à mort , car il ne veut vivre dans un monde sans Bella
