Welt Online : Quand vous vous êtes réveillé ce matin, dsaviez vous dans quelle vie vous étiez?
Robert Pattinson : Honnêtement? Je ne savais pas.Et ça m'arrive souvent dernièrement

Welt Online : Vous parcourez le monde depuis des années. Vous sentez vous chez vous quelque part?
Pattinson : Je n'ai pas de chez moi en ce moment. Mes parents ont vidé ma chambre à Londres donc je n'ai plus de chez moi. Je vais travailler sur ce point.

Welt Online : Dans"Water for Elephants" vous avez un partenaire inhabituel ca fait quoi de jouer avec un éléphant?
Pattinson : Vous vous sentez en sécurité , peu importe l'animal sauvage. C'est donc génail d'être là seul avec eux, ça vous rend plus humble. De plsu, ça rendait tout le monde heureux, nous étions tous des enfants, ils voulaient tous être prêt d'elle. Tai est une femelle et c'est la partenaire la plus sympa avec qui j'ai travaillé. Kristen, pardonne moi.

Welt Online : Tai a fait une chose que les fans lui envient: avec sa trompe, elle flirte continuellement avec vous dans lefilm. Etait ce prévu ou pas?
Pattinson : les 1ère semaines, on s'est entraîné avec des bonbons qu'on mettait derrière moi. Après ça, elle était persuadée que j'en avais toujours sur moi. Elle mettait toujours sa trompe dans mes poches ou ailleurs.

Welt Online : N'est ce pas métaphorique? N'etes vous pas un pachyderme dans l'industrie du cinéma?
Pattinson :Tout à fait. J'allais aux auditions et on était 200, attendant des heures pour tenter notre chance et vous voyez ce forumaire et vous vous dites: Non. Si vous l'avez vécu 100 fois, vous êtes immunisé pour la déception. Il faut avoir les épaules solides.

Welt Online : Après la saga de vampire, vous faites "Water for Elephants" et bientôt un remake de Bel Ami de Maupassant. Etes vous en train de mûrir en tant qu'acteur?
Pattinson :J'espère. . Je ne suis pas encore mature. Mais dans "WFE " je me sens un peu plus mature. Pour les films "Twilight", je dois incarner cet ado de 17 ans et je suis limité Depuis, je suis béni, j'ai de plus en plus de rôle "plus adulte". Et je dois prouver que je peux le faire

Welt Online : Après plus de 3 ans , "Twilight" est fini : avez vous terminé le tournage des deux derniers films?
Pattinson :Oui , il y a quelques jours. C'est fini.

Welt Online : Et vous avez fait la fête?
Pattinson : Comme de plus en plus de personnes quittaient le Canada, on a fait une fête d'adieu. Pour la dernière scène, j'étais seul avec Kristen Stewart.C'était sur une plage ensoleillé et chaude, une belle fin . Après des films dans le froid, j'aurais pu dans ces conditions en faire 5 de plus.

Welt Online : Allez vous apprécier votre vie sans "Twilight"?
Pattinson : Ce n'est pas encore fini. Il va falloir faire la prommotion. Et oui, c'est une charge en moins. Les deux derniers sont étrangesd et tout de maquillage chaque jour . Mais ça va quand même me manquer. Ce fut quand même une phase importante dans ma vie.

Weltz on line : cette folie autour de vous, n'est ce pas un peu du cirque?
Pattinson : Oui en quelque sorte. On ne peut pas empêcher ça . Vous devez être ce cheval de compétition pour créer l' illusion. Le pire c'est quand je n'avais pas de travail et que je restais là à ne rien faire. La dernière fois que je suis venu en Allemagne, je suis allé avec Taylor Lautner au stade olympique et il y avait 30,000 filles qui hurlaient à Munich. C'était très bizarre. C'était comme être une rock star mais sans faire de musique. On est resté 15 minutes avec tous ces cris autour de nous puis on est parti pour la promotion suivante

Weltz on line : saviez vous que cette folie vous attendez quand vous avez pris le rôle de Edward Cullen et l'auriez vous décliné?
Pattinson : Qui sait? J'y aurais peut être réfléchi à 2 fois. Mais je ne veux pas me montrer ingrat. La pire époque de ma vie, c'est quand je ne faisais rien et que je n'avais pas de job. Je me suis alors demandé : Qu'est ce que tu fais là ? Je ne voyais pas d'avenir.Mais l'industrie est vraiment étrange: j'étais au plus bas; Je me suis dit que c'était ma dernière chance et nous étions 3000 en compétition. Et puis j'ai été Edward. Et tout à coup, je peux faire des films que j'ai toujours voulu faire. C'est ce qui me motive. On ne se souviendra pas de moi uniquement pour avoir incarner un vampire
