Twilight fan Beth got a brief sighting of Rob Pattinson in New York today, filming Remember Me, and RadarOnline.com has the fun details of the Pattinson fever consuming NYC.

I never thought I'd be the kind of girl to go to a set with hoards of screaming fans, but when I arrived at the Remember Me shoot this afternoon, I realized I was wrong. I walked over to where I'd been told they were filming at the Plaza hotel, telling myself I was just having a look, that that I'm not "Robsessed" and that any New Yorker has a right to walk past this way... I lied - I'm from Florida!

I knew that Remember Me was filming at the Plaza hotel today, and Central Park's lush greenery shaded my stroll through the mid-July heat - if it weren't so dry it'd almost double for Forks! It was sunny and beautiful, a near perfect afternoon - the only thing hotter might be...a bit of Rob and as I walk in the general direction of 59th and 5th ave and start to see... a costume trailer, some crew and Pierce Brosnon.

He gave a wave that could have been the perfect decoy until the squeals turn into screams and the head to toe perfection that emerged from the hotel next....Rob in full dress suit and sunglasses was so smoldering hot that I was sure those glasses would melt away at any moment.

He descended the staircase with a smooth swagger that dazzled. Cars of people were stopping and asking for the low-down as if this were a gossip drive thru! Hello, it's Rob and this is not McDonald's! I tell you, that boy not only turned heads but stopped traffic!! Looking delicious in his dark suit and so adorkable as he shied away from the fans - he might as well be playing hard-to-get as he dashed inside rather than keeping things from turning into full on Rob-mania!

Je ne pensais jamais être le genre de fille qui irait sur un plateau de tournage avec des hordes de fans qui hurlent , mais quand je suis arrivée sur le plateau de Remember Me cette après midi , je me suis rendue compte que j'avais tort . Je suis allée là où l'on m'avait dit d'aller : ils tournaient au Plaza hotel, me disant que j'allais juste jeter un coup d'oeil, que je ne suis pas une "Robsessed" et que n'importe quel New Yorkaise a le droit de passer par là ... J'ai menti – Je suis de Floride!

Je savais que Remember Me était en tournage au Plaza hotel aujourd'hui , et le verdure luxuriante de Central Park m'a permis de me mettre à l'ombre et d'échapper à la chaleur de mi juillet – si ce n'était pas si sec j'aurais pu croire que c'était un clone de Forks! Il faisait beau et ensoleillé , une après midi presque parfaite – la seule chose qui donne plus chaud c'est ...un peu de Rob et alors que je marchais en direction de la 59ème et 5ème avenue j'ai commencé à voir ... une caravane pour costume, des membres de l'équipe de tournage et Pierce Brosnon.

Il a salué la foule et cela aurait pu être parfait mais les hurlements ont surgis et la perfection de la tête aux pieds a fait son apparition – sortant de l'hôtel - en la personne de ....Rob en costume et lunettes noires ,il était si sexy que j'étais sure que ces lunettes allaient fondre à tout moment t.

Il a descendu les escaliers avec tellement de délicatesse que c'en était éblouissant . Les voitures s'arrêtaient et se demandaient ce qu'il se passer comme si on était dans un potin driving ! Hého c'est Robet non McDonald's! Je vous le dit non seulement ce gars fait tourner les têtes mais il stoppe aussi le trafic !! Il avait l'air si délicieux dans son costume noir et si adorable quand il a fait signe aux fans – il a dû se faire violence car il s'est empressé de continuer son chemin pour éviter toute Rob-mania!

Robert Pattinson est arrivé il y a 1 heure (15 heures, heure locale NYC) sur le lieu de tournage sous les cris et les "I love you Rob" et est entré rapidement dans sa caravane.

I arrived around 5:30 with a friend who had never gone Rob-watching before. Initially, there were approximately 40 fans there all behind barricades. 30 minutes later, Rob emerged from the building and went into his trailer (unfortunately for my friend, she made the cardinal mistake of letting her hungry stomach rule her and she had left to grab a slice of pizza). He was wearing the same suit he's been sporting the past couple of days. As usual, he kept his head down and walked straight to his trailer without acknowledging the crowd (some people have just ruined it for those of us that behave). Shortly after, he returned and reentered the building. At this time, the crowds were, for the most part, behaving themselves.

Another 30 minutes went by, and Pierce Brosnan left the building and headed to his trailer. Mr. 007 was all smiles as he waved to the crowd and even addressed some of the fans close to his trailer.

While the crowd waited for Rob to exit the building again, not so calm fans began to yell and scream at the drivers of passing cars, demanding that they move faster as their view was being blocked. Drivers that received the most criticism were those in charge of the NYC tour guide buses. At one point, a tour bus had blocked the view for so long, the PAs decided to pull a trick and make the crowd believe that Rob had come out and was whisked into his trailer which caused overzealous fans to begin screaming.

Around 7:30, Emilie finally exited the building (she's absolutely tiny!). She acknowledged the crowd, smiled, and waved before entering her trailer. Right behind her was Mr Beautiful Man! The girls went crazy (despite an older woman's directions to not scream). Again, Rob kept his eye on his trailer and stayed focused. Not too longer after, both Emilie and Rob smiled and waved at the crowd as they left the set.
